(MWA) VOLUNTEERS: A SPECIAL INVITATION
Dear MWA Member,
MWA depends on it's Members volunteer support to remain viable. We kindly ask all MWA Members of 6-months or more to volunteer in some capacity a few hours each month. If it's been awhile since you've contributed some time you may be contacted to volunteer in the areas that you indicated on your Membership form. Let's keep MWA functioning smoothly as a service to all it's members.
VOLUNTEER BENEFITS:
1) Get to know other members and artists in the Art community on Maui.
2) Learn about art show and workshop protocol, set-up and publicity.
3) Build stronger artistic assocations to increase your personal success as an artist or art lover.
4) Get on-hands experience working in an Art Gallery! Volunteering a full day in the Gallery is required for members presenting their artwork at upcoming art gallery showings.
5) Participation in our art juried shows and workshops requires some minimum volunteer input.
Please help keep the cost of our special programs in a modest range for yourself and others by Volunteering today..!
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
1) Art Show Chair Person to coordinate the 2006 art show for MWA. Job starts now securing the location.
2) Membership Chair person to send out member applications and member cards to notify when memberships expire.
3) Phone committee helpers.
4) Art gallery help to address postcards to secure MWA's own art gallery.
5) Workshop jobs: room set up, food table management, entry sign up's at door.
6) MWA Photo Album Construction: help design years of MWA photos into an album.
7) Photographer of events in digital and/or 35 mm camera for press releases.
